The dollars and cents comparison for each shelter complete with Broiler Package

It walks you through the return on investment for each shelter equipped with the broiler kit and the maximum number of broilers that can be kept inside the shelter.
The space calculation is based on the Chicken Farmers of Canada’s Animal Care Program, which states you can have 6.35 lbs per square foot of space.
To calculate this, take the total square foot of the shelter and multiply x 6.35 (lbs), then divide by the average live weight of your birds (we used mature broilers at 8.5 lbs live weight).
